Faith Over Feelings: Walking When You'd Rather Quit

Faith Over Feelings: Walking When You'd Rather Quit

Feelings are powerful. Fear, doubt, exhaustion — they can feel overwhelming, especially when the journey gets rough. But as Christians, we are called to walk by faith, not feelings.

There will be days when everything inside you says, "Give up."
But God’s Word says:

"Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." (Hebrews 12:1-2)

Faith is the choice to trust God even when your emotions suggest otherwise. It’s the decision to keep praying even when you feel dry, to keep believing even when you see no sign of change.

Remember: Your feelings are real, but they are not always truthful.
Faith anchors you to what is true — God's Word, His promises, and His perfect timing.

On the hard days, don’t listen to your fear. Listen to your faith. One step of obedience today is better than giving up tomorrow.
